As an avid reader, I’ve had a lifelong devotion to getting lost in fictional worlds. I’m dedicated to the escapism it provides as well as the community it fosters among us, and it’s for this and many more reasons I’ve chosen to spend my life working in the field of literature. 

Of course, reading is always a journey, and it’s no surprise that I’ve changed over the years, both as a reader and as a creator. When I first began on Bookstagram, I only read fantasy and young adult, as well as being an ardent paperback lover!

Now, years later, my primary passion is indie romance. I binge-listen audiobooks until the early hours of the morning, and take my kindle everywhere. You never when the opportunity to read might strike. 

My newfound love for ebooks could never replace paperbacks in my heart, though. Collecting physical editions of my favorite books like trophies is one of my favorite ways to spend my time, and working on special edition book designs always gives me a special sense of artistic satisfaction. 

Being  a part of this community has not only broadened my reading, but has offered me the ability to combine my love of literature with my artistic creativity. Being able to use my 10 years of experience in photography and design to bring an author’s vision to life is a dream I never thought I’d experience, and I find new challenges and growth in it every day. 

I was fortunate enough to design and create for Euphoric Lit in 2024. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, representing queer literature will always be an important part of my life. However, now I’m looking forward to the next chapter, working independently with authors to show just how diverse and phenomenal the indie book community really is.
